Would this engine easily work with the ECU in an 02 Boxster S? Any over revs?

Nothing wrong with my engine and the car has 90k miles. I did the ceramic bearing upgrade a couple years ago during a transmission rebuild. Since mine is a dedicated track car and takes a beating I was thinking of buying your engine as a spare

Perfect idea!

I had dedicated track car years ago as it was a 916 and had a 3.0 carrera race engine giving me 290fwhp and I also had a 2.5 spare race engine producing 275fwhp.

I do understand the need to keep car ready for track for events.

My engine will work perfect for you!

Might be a good time to buy it!

keep in touch if u don't sell it down the road. Now isn't a perfect time to make such a discretionary purchase, but if u haven't sold it I will be interested in th future. Have a couple college educations taking precedence right now. 2018 will be a different story.

I've been consulting with mechanic friends. Was a compression and/or leak down test done prior to removal of the engine?
