Even their street system with valves has deafening drone.
And they even stated no drone and wouldn't return an exhaust when it did in fact have it. Never again.

Take a look at Soul from Soul Performance. I love mine. Sounds like a cup car without being too loud. Words just can’t explain the wonderful exhaust note. I recommend just giving them a call. They are super helpful and their service is the best there is.

I have the valved version of the Fabspeed exhaust... as well as the rest of their entire "GT450" package. The valves in my exhaust rattled like a tin can due to improper assembly of the valves from the factory. Just like what the other person wrote, their "lifetime warranty" is rubbish and only covered whatever they decided to... which, in my situation, was nothing. I simply ended up cutting out the valves from their defective exhaust. Now I ended up with a hybrid of the competition exhaust and valved since the mufflers are there still.
It's loud... quite loud, but not so loud that I can't daily my car. None of my interior panels rattle from the exhaust... but there is quite a bit of drone. I've always driven loud cars so I'm not bothered by it much.

Seems like not much has changed over the years with Fabspeed.

So waiting for my 2016 GT4 to be delivered after looking for the right car. I'm looking at putting on an aftermarket exhaust. Looking for feed back on the Fabspeed Porsche Cayman GT4 Lightweight Competition Exhaust System. Thanks in advance.
As Mike mentioned, I know the GT4 platform intimately and would be happy to have a chat with you about it. There is a lot of variation in the experience of the GT4s with aftermarket exhaust systems, and not just different brands/designs but different areas of the exhaust system such as doing headers vs doing a catback, or doing both. I've heard or driven most every combination at this point. Please feel free to give me a call at 484 883 6197 and I'll run you through everything to help you make an educated decision, regardless of whether or not that ends with a SOUL product on your car. If you're up for it, we can also have a chat about chassis tuning, brakes, aero, wheel/tire combinations, etc that I have experience in building these cars. I'm an open book and happy to help.
Best regards,
John Gaydos

I appreciate the fact that Scott is stepping up to address all of these unflattering posts for his company, I really do. Hopefully things have changed and there is a shift that will result in a better customer experience.
But I will say this -- there are two issues here: 1) a product that it turns out was not performing as advertised and as expected by customers, and 2) an unwillingness to listen and honor customer complaints about that fact UNTIL the chorus of complaints became too large to ignore, i.e. change was made "due to community feedback about the amount of drone being experienced."
Sounds like M96 IMS bearing problems and Porsche's response.
I fear it speaks to a corporate culture of "you are wrong, we know it" until enough people voice the same complaint. Hopefully that has been addressed as well, but it can be a hard culture to root out. Especially since it almost always emanates from the top down. CSRs don't usually take it on themselves to tell customers to stuff it when they have a complaint unless that has been the directive they've been hearing.

I just emailed you. As I stated in my email, this is the last chance I will provide Fabspeed to make things right. I look forward to your response, or lack thereof.
