Thank you for your interest. As per your questions:
(1) All you need to do in order to send the seller labels are the dimension, and the weight of the boxes. Once you have the info you can create the labels on our site, and use our "forward label" feature to forward the labels to your serller.
(2) You can purchase extra insurance. If the item is damaged during shipping the courier is ultimately responsible, we would just initiate the claim on your behalf.

Hi. I'm looking at shipping with ShipNerd for a set of wheels (tires + rims).
A couple of questions:
1. I believe I can pay for shipping up front and then send the seller the shipping label (so that he doesn't have to pay for shipping)?
2. Once the courier is determined (after payment) how far away will the seller have to drive to drop off the package (i.e. what is the maximum distance for drop off you allow)?

(1) Correct - You can create the shipment on your account (you pay for the shipping), and then forward the seller the shipping labels to the seller so that he can use them. This way you know exactly how much shipping costs, and ensure you're not being overcharged on the shipping.
(2) It's going to be either FedEx or UPS. We will provide a list of the 10 nearest drop-off locations based on the shipper's address.

Hi again. After I pay for shipping with ShipNerd and send the label to my seller, does he (seller) have to drop off the package at a shipping depot? Can the package be picked up by the courier instead at this place of business? My seller tells me he has accounts with all the major couriers and they pick up regularly from his place of business? Hi,
If your shipment is intra-US or Canada then you will either get a UPS or Fedex Label.
If your seller already has daily pickups with these couriers then he can simply give them the packages, as you will get a UPS or Fedex Scannable label.
If your seller does not have daily pickup, then he will need to drop off the package at the nearest Fedex or UPS drop off locations. ShipNerd will show you the 10 nearest drop off locations based on the origin shipping address.
We do offer pickup functionality, but this option is reserved for business owners with regular volume.

Just processed another shipment through ShipNerd for a complete set of PASM shocks & springs. UPS directly wanted $104.83. UPS going through ShipNerd $68.37 - a savings of $36.46. Any of you guys shipping parts from Marketplace ads are missing out on some significant savings if you're not at least checking the rates going through ShipNerd instead of directly through the carrier sites.
