Hey everyone, I am in the process of parting out my Cayman R and one of the items is this Harness Bar. bar is in excellent condition!!! Only used about four months. I had this custom built for the 987 by Rebellion Forge Custom Fabrication. Top notch quality.....they are also building my GTB1 conversion of this car. Bar is finished in white powder coat and includes the following:
• Harness Bar
• OEM Plastic Shock Tower Trim pieces with pre-cut holes
• Fire Ext. & Quick Release Mount

Does this bar impede seat travel? If so, how much? Can you remove the engine cover without removing any part of the bar?

With the stock seats, no issue. I am about 6', and did not have a problem getting comfortable. With fixed back racing seats I was also able to place these without issue.

This is a great deal. I bought a used bolt in roll cage last year and paid more for just the cage.

You get the extinguisher and spare shock trim covers.

If your interior is not black you can get some paint matched to your interior trim at Home Depot and paint them.

I got spare covers in black for my sand beige interior and painted them. The color match was dead on.
