Just lowered the price again! I am willing to deal, I would like to move these along to a new home where hopefully they can get somebody's car back on the road.

Firstly, pictures are located below! Here I have some of the remnants of my 1983 Porsche 944. The engine spun a rod bearing and was taken out for a rebuild which was never completed. The rolling chassis has been sold but there are some parts left from the rebuild attempt.

After the rod bearing was spun, I got the crank machined and the block cleaned at a professional machine shop (C&C). To use that crank, you need oversized bearings(main: 25mm ; rod: 50mm). I also have the pistons, rods (the rod which spun its bearing has a replacement), and other block hardware including the oil pan, camshaft, balance shafts, brackets and pulleys. The cam cover and water pump are NOT included. In addition there are some parts we bought from a running donor engine, which include a crank and 4 more rods and pistons. All the rods are 944.103.101.3RARST, which I'm told means they were forged. I think these are the same/similar rods as were used in the turbo (951) engines, so they may be compatible? Correct me if I'm wrong. All these parts came out of early 944 engines.

It's been a few years since the project was abandoned so I would just recommend coming over and checking everything out if possible. I am located in Northern Virginia. Or just ask me any and all questions you can think of. PM me if interested, thanks!
