If there is a way to confirm these are for 298mm rotors, I will take them.

The fronts appear to be for 298mm rotors as the larger M030 calipers mount radially, you can just see the mounting points (non-radial) for the fronts in the photos shown. However, it looks like there are two of the same side front calipers shown so you would have to swap ends for the bleeders / cross over pipe. Since that was not mentioned in the original post it's at least worth a question and possibly a second thought.
FYI, rear rotors / calipers are smaller on all 944 series cars and most cars for that matter.
