Default FS: Lithium Battery 991 GT3/RS/GT4/911R

Category: Accessories
Price (no $ sign please): $2250
Private or Vendor Listing: Vendor Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 911, Cayman, Race Car
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

Title says "used" but this was only test fitted in a GT3 RS before being removed when the car was sold. We have it in our shop on the factory Porsche tender and voltage reads perfect. Only one available at this price. This was an option for 991.1 GT3, GT3 RS, 911R, and Cayman GT4 models. Weight savings of 29.7 lbs over the standard battery. If your car currently has the standard battery and you would like to use this battery, **dealer programming is necessary**, or we can install for you and program with our PIWIS if you're nearby. If your have the 60 amp hour battery (option code I194) you will need to purchase an additional mounting bracket that we can supply at our cost. Shipping in the USA only.

I'm no expert but this should work no problem.

It was offered on the car models posted above because those are considered "track cars".. Lightweight battery goes hand in hand.. Weight savings yo!

I am checking with Porsche to ensure 991.2 Carrera S has the programming embedded in the ECU. The option to run this battery has to be "turned on" with a PIWIS.
