Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 996, 997
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

SOLD.

Hi Rennlisters,

I am moving soon and I would like to lighten the moving load (I have about 3 other pairs of seats to take with me). I have a set of 996 GT3 bucket seats for sale. I picked them up off a forum member to swap into my car but have since decided to just stick with my GT2 folding buckets instead of making the switch. He had a set of Schroth harnesses installed on the seat, and it was missing the OEM seatbelt buckles, but I found a pair of buckles online, one with electrical tape on a wire, not sure why but so you know, and pictured. Harnesses are still installed on the seat, and are included in the sale. I have not tried installing the OEM buckles back on. Comes mounted on OEM seat sliders.

Asking $2,500. If I have to take it with me to California the price will go up since I'll have had to take it across the country. Local buyers to Pittsburgh, PA only. First come, first served as I am in the middle of moving and won't be able to hold items for people for weeks upon weeks. Please PM if interested. Thanks. Apologies for the mess, packing everything is a chore.

Think I know the answer to this, but these don't fit 981/991 do they?

^Though I haven't tried it myself, I think it may fit a 991. I say this because I saw a GT2 bucket bolted into a blue 991 GT3 at a Watkins Glen track day that I went to, and both the GT3 and GT2 buckets bolt right into my 997.

What I'm much less sure about is what you'd do about airbag light (Does Durametric work on a 991? I've no idea about newer cars.) or if the seatbelt receptacle would be compatible.

The seatbelt receptacle for 991 can be replace onto this bucket seat, or buy a new one cost about $140 each.

Not interested, but the OP should consider shipping. Shipping is as easy as dropping off at the UPS store, they handle all the work

It really isn't. I've had UPS stores reject items that are too large or difficult to pack before. It varies with the office. And people are willing to pay for shipping and packaging materials until they realize that it costs more than $100. I've shipped stuff all over the world before, it's rare that someone actually is willing to pay actual packaging and shipping costs, and the bigger it is the harder it is for everyone. Plus, seeing what you're buying in person is best.

Please keep thread on topic.
