1999 Porsche 911 C2 Coupe with Flat Six Innovations 3.8L Engine

Up for sale is the greatest vehicle I have ever driven. This is 3/98 build of the lightest and the nimblest of the 996's. It is a true drivers car with cable throttle, no traction control, and all of the feel of the 993's. Except for the monster power plant inside.

In June of this year I took delivery of the car with a 3.8L Flat Six Innovations Track Performer Plus engine. This is their top of the line build for the '99 with nearly 300HP to the rear wheels and monster torque throughout the power band. This car drives like a GT3 but for half the price. The engine has right at 2,000 miles on it after being broken in properly as instructed.

Current Modifications (all can be taken back to stock):
JCI Cross Coilovers
Fabspeed X-Pipe
Mille Miglia Exhaust

Business has been a little rough this year and I need to free up some cash. So I’m selling most of my toys. But when things recover, this one will be replaced with the exact same build. I told Jake I was willing to buy any 911 for him to build the engine for and asked his recommendation for which one to get. He said an early build ‘99 and he was absolutely right.

Thanks! I’m a little nervous posting it on BaT this time of year. Half of the market is in the process of shutting down for the winter. But if I still have it and still need to sell it in the spring then that’s definitely the route I will go.

You won't be disappointed if you find a way to make it work. I'm anxiously awaiting my FSI 3.8 Track Performer Plus to be finished up this spring.

I've ridden in this car and can attest to its condition. Slakker is a great seller and and this car was driven properly during the break in period.

This car looks incredible. Do you have interior pics? Can someone buy this so I can stop being tempted?

Question - Part of the cost of building a Spec 996 or other 996/986 based Track/Race car is adding the parts to insure the motor does not starve for oil under 1+ lateral G loads. This means adding a deep sump oil pan, a X-51 type oil baffle and an Accusump. The question is does this " Flat Six Innovations" motor still need these items? I would consider this car for a track build if I knew I don't also need to add these items to the build cost. Thanks
