Default WTB 996 motor mounts

looking for some solid or semi solid mounts on the cheap.
hoping this will inspire a fellow Rennlister to liberate some garage shelf space and turn a set of mounts into some cash.

drill a hole in your oem mounts. flush them with alcohol and let dry. fill with window weld from home depot. let cure 48-72 hrs. you n ow have semi solid motor mounts

If you have a droopy motor, Jack it to correct height prior to doing trick above and you should be good to go. Keep us posted on your outcome.

Why didn't you install the torque solutions mounts? They seem like a good product.

If heard about using window weld for transmission mount inserts but this is brilliant!

i used w/w for motor mounts oin my amg car but for that price the t/s mounts cant be beat. its actually what i use in my porsche

$400 vs $25? I had wevo’s on my 996 track car but on my current DE build ww sounds perfect.

I think he was referring to the 50.00 price they were offered for the TS mounts. Not retail.

I bottomed out my VW Passat going through an intersection too fast and cracked my oil pan. I took a quarter and covered it in JB Weld. I held it on for a minute and it stayed for a few years. Worked great
