For a few years, the SL AMG Benz's and the 911 Turbos shared the same tranny. The Benz's were over 500 HP. The tip is plenty robust, and with Sport Chrono is a pretty sporty single clutch tranny. Hard to over-rev, too.

Looks like you just bought this car a few weeks ago. Did you buy is as an investment (no issue with that) or did you just change your mind on the car?

bought the car in september, absolutely no issues with it at all, was planning on keeping it for a long time but there are some personal issues that came up making me forced to sell....

Re: “Single clutch tranny?”

Are you sure? I’m not a Tip expert by any means, but I thought they were torque converter automatics, albeit good ones.
