Good question but not at all is the answer. I would NEVER permit smoking in my car and I would not likely buy a Porsche without the smokers package. It just adds an additional cigarette charging location and covers a strange empty space that exists without the package.

I assume it’s simply to get an additional power outlet? Not sure.

No indication my car was ever smoked in.

It’s a solid car.

What a nice car! it has everything that I want, other than PDK. Hmm, I am still struggling about Manual or PDK.

Manual is more fun for sure, but the PDK does offer some benefits.

My prior four Porsches (inc 3 caymans) were all manual, but when I was on the hunt for my most recent, a 991.1, I was open to transmission and just looking for the “right” car. It ended up being PDK and like many others, all I can say is WOW. I love the transmission and don’t think I’ll ever get a manual Porsche again. This actually kind of bums me out bc I really thought my next one would be a GT4. So if this car checks all the boxes for you, do it! Looks like a great spec!

I've had manual in the 987 CS and PDK in the 981 CS. The PDK is insanely, unbelievably good. And, even though I missed rowing through gears in a manual, that PDK sure is nice when you're stuck in rush hour traffic. Point being, don't let the PDK be a deterrent.
