From what I understand we can't use LHD seats in RHD cars because of the airbag configuration.

'out of the box' yes, but there's a workaround!
You can switch the airbag hardware to opposite seat base, or, and much simpler, swap the seat belt buckles so they are on the opposite side of the seat. Either option would take less than 30 minutes.
Source: I've taken these seats apart a couple times.

Really?! I am happy and frustrated all at once - I've missed out on so many buying opportunities but am glad this is an option.

What really is a shame to me is that someone commits to purchasing something then goes MIA for days, then comes back to say that they can not purchase because it won't fit etc.. Time is valuable to most of us and I'm sure most would agree that before a commitment to purchase and deposit given one should already know whether it is something that will work. Lots of time was wasted and several people missed out on the opportunity to purchase because a deposit was given without disclosing that further research was needed. If known that time was needed to know if they would work a deposit would not have been accepted..

Friendly reminder not needed, nice that this was posted on Rennlist! Have been a member for many years, having bought and sold with no issues... Deposit not needed for my retirement fund, however wasted time will never be recuperated. Once I can figure out how to recover fees taken for receiving money and what it will cost to send money back then I will waste more time in returning it...

Sorry for the rant, just frustrated with people that have nothing better to do.
