Up for up for sale is B&M short shifter, reduces standard shifter throw up to 35% for 996/986 cars and 20% on 997/987 cars. Already installed in a 996 Turbo shifter cradle base. yes cable ends are brand new. I’m not sure how many miles are on the B&M shifter. There is really no parts to wear on it as it’s solid billet aluminum. Car had it installed when I bought it with 33k miles and I’ve since put 10k miles on it since purchased in 2015.

Absolutely all these cars share the same shifter assemblies.

Make sure your mechanic follows the directions from B&M’s website for adjustment once installed. You can download a copy of the instructions off the site here in a pdf. http://www.bmracing.com/products/451...e-996-and-997/

Key is to mark the shifter cable ends as a reference point when removing your shifter cables.
