Rare factory Euro cloth (Perlon) seats (one has very minor 1-1/2 cm repaired tear; embroidered crests are wearing. Both sets of side plates, one set of tracks.) The marks in the bottom of one seat were only from the crossmember that I just picked up.

I am sorry. I was up all night wrestling with this. I apologize but I am relisting the seats at their fair price. I am embarrassed and sorry to disappoint Brian but am refunding his money. I did not know what they were worth when I posted them. It was not any of your fault but mine alone.

I don't want to be "that guy" but this is the situation I am in. My family is in bad straits and I need the money for college tuition. I already sold a shotgun and my dirt bike for a dentist bill. I simply need the money for my children. If work or the economy was better I wouldn't be selling my car and parts in the first place.

I know many of you will be angry but I hope some will understand. If this gets me banned from Rennlist then so be it. If anyone wants to boycott the sale then so be it too. You have to do what you think is right and I need to do what's best for my family. I can't afford to take a big hit because I was stupid.

If you want to come to my house and yell at me I'll buy you a beer and we can sit while you yell. But I can't screw my kids.

You will certainly have an opportunity to buy them for more but that's an issue for the buyer and seller and admins

I was wondering about this, I would almost feel bad buying these from someone at a price that clearly indicated they had no idea what they had.

At the same time to, I would feel worse if someone screwed me on seats I bought and paid for.

As much as I sympathize with the OP, if this doesn't earn you a ban then what does? Do what you gotta do, sell your seats for what you want but don't sell the here.

Come on, let's cut the guy a break! He made an honest mistake, accepted responsibility, apologized (in Latin no less!), refunded the money, and made a peace offering of beer. The buyer's disappointment in not getting a below-market sale is justified, and we shouldn't fault him for that. He accepted the offer in good faith and performed his part of the bargain. But let's be a better community than one that ostracizes a fellow enthusiast who is going through hard times just because he made a mistake that was obvious to everyone on this string.

I agree with silver surfer here. I also understand the buyers frustration. Hopefully you guys can come to terms and move on.
