Default Air Conditioning Vents

Any idea if the side and center AC vents are same part as on 2005 997? if so, are they fully functional? I ask the second question because I am assuming poor design (though could be user error) due three of mine being broken, the slid that adjusts direction of air flow from side to side broke away from the internal vanes.

Yes I believe so....the only thing is that I think there may be some variations around a dark trim around the edge of the vent vs a silver. added picture
