I have the VPH-900, I got it about 2.5 years ago and it's been amazing. I didn't get it for the weight benefits, I got it for the auto-cutoff on discharge and the ability to turn it off when I'm away for an extended period. I'm very happy I got it, one of my most helpful mods. I don't have to look for a tender in the multi-resident apartment garages I park in. And the ability to turn it off is also somewhat of a security feature.

No problemo. Voltphreaks ships internationally, so I'm sure Rennline and Voltphreaks can accommodate you.

Were you able to resolve whether this will work with a 991 GT3? Which battery and would a mount required?

Earlierapex,

Some GT2 and GT3 owners have reported issues with undercharging. Apparently some of these model cars produce only 13 volts instead of the typical 14 to 14.6 volts that the Voltphreaks batteries expect and require. Below 13V a lead battery will be partially charged, but a lithium battery will barely be charged at that level. Measure the voltage with your engine on. If you have 14 to 14.6V you are good to go.

So here’s how it works. Simply place your order directly with Rennline and then post your confirmation number here. If you prefer you can PM me with the confirmation number. I will forward the confirmation numbers to Rennline. Rennline will place all of the orders on hold until they have the necessary confirmation numbers. Once all the of confirmation numbers have been received, Rennline will fulfill the orders and provide a 15% credit after the fact.

Please be sure to post up the confirmation numbers so the orders can be placed on hold, and so you can be assured of a credit. The orders will only be fulfilled when all ten orders have been placed.

If anyone else wants to jump in, we will leave this open for another week until Monday February 5, 2018. Confirmation numbers must be issued on or before February 5, 2018. It would be great to have a few extra buyers for insurance in case we lost anyone along the way here.

When we place our order do we need to indicate we are part of the RL group buy? You state orders will only be fulfilled after all ten have orders have been placed -- how will they know we are part of the group buy? Should we place order via phone to make sure they know the order if the RL group buy?

The key is to simply provide the confirmation number ASAP. Rennline will be watching for any Voltphreaks orders, but feel free to contact Russ Fawley at Ph: 802 893 RENN ext. 107, Russ@Rennline.com

These are the details from Russ at Rennline:

"Once you have your 10 guys have them all place their orders online. Then send me their order confirmation #’s. I will place those on hold and then reach out to my contact at Voltphreaks to have them discounted and I will get those orders out. Once the order is placed feel free to have anyone reach out to me with questions on shipping etc, and as always anyone is free to contact me directly with questions on the batteries"
