For those of you thinking about purchasing a Voltphreaks battery - hold the phone!

Voltphreaks lightweight batteries have been getting some great reviews here on Rennlist, I reached out to Rennline to inquire about a group discount if we could put ten buyers together here on Rennlist. Rennline reached out to Voltphreaks and they have teamed up to offer a 15% discount if we can put together a group buy of 10 or more batteries. Any Voltphreaks battery would qualify and they would include SAE posts and upgraded Aluminum SAE adapters.

If you're interested, please let me know by posting below (for the record, no affiliation). I have two cars to equip, so we already have two down: Thanks!

To be clear, you simply pick the Voltphreaks battery of your choosing and Rennline will provide a 15% discount off the retail prices in the links above. I expect Rennline will provide the discount code once we get ten buyers for critical mass. Thanks Guys.

Very nice deal. I've been looking into these but something for all of you to consider. The charging voltage from the gt cars may or may not be enough to fully charge LI batteries.

If it's low 13's, it will only partially charge the battery. The voltage seems to vary though, if it's say, 13.6 volts or higher, it isn't optimal but will probably still work for the most part. If it's low 13's (say 13.1, 13.2) then it definitely won't work and will require upping the voltage (by replacing alternator, changing belt ratio, or doing something else, etc).

I have a Voltphreaks VPR-P6 and absolutely love it. Light weight plus I can go away for a month and not worry about needing a tender. Amazing product.
