Default 996 GT3 motor, 2005

Category: Engine - Complete
Price (no $ sign please): $22000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 996, 997, Race Car
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

This factory sealed motor came out of my 2005 996 GT3 racecar. Never opened, and ran strong (2 podiums previous event) until unfortunate collision ruined the car's chassis. Previously had all coolant pipes welded. Only damage to engine was PS pulley and 1 bent header, so all new Fabspeed headers and cat-bypass pipes installed. Never put back in car. Car purchased used, previously lived as daily driver for doctor in Texas. Had 19500 miles when I got it, but I have no record of total miles. Interrogation of DME ECU is attached. Pre-accident oil analysis deemed OK by my race shop (no glitter). Asking $22,000 (never used exhaust system was $3K alone). Questions welcomed.

Sorry about your loss...had this been a last year, I would have bought your engine....ended up putting a 997 engine in my 996....Once again...sorry about your car.
