Reluctantly listing my 1990 Carrera 2 Targa in Linen Grey with grey interior for sale. As a new dad with two little ones, I just don't have time to enjoy it like it should be and need the garage space.

I bought the car site unseen from an older gentleman in Alabama, but with an independent mechanic inspection. It had typical oil leaks, but replaced all the oil lines and it stays relatively dry. I've owned the car for a little over 4 years. Have put ~$4K into it over that time period. I It has been serviced at Bob Hindson racing in Kansas City and I can share receipts of work completed. It had a top end rebuild at 84K miles (I don't have the documents, but can provide the name of the shop in which it was done. I called prior to purchasing) and at some point it had a respray.

I currently run it on 996 c4 wheels and the tires are probably halfway through their life. I still have the original D-90s, but they will need new tires (they're included in the sale as well). It has one small rust bubble on the windshield that will likely need addressed in the next few years (shown up close in the pic) and a few tiny dings from normal wear and tear that could be fixed by a good PDR shop for little cost.

The interior is in excellent shape. with really no noticeable flaws. The original radio was replaced with radio cd/player and the speakers are original (meaning not fantastic, but original!) - who cares about speakers anyway.

In short, it's a great driving car that I've put very few miles (~1,500) on in the last 4 years. Open to PPI and reasonable offers. I'm in no hurry to sell, but will do my best to be responsive to your inquires.

Paint chipping a little on the driver side door

Windshield rust bubble. Pea sized.


Weirdly common hairline crack in the spoiler.

Slight chipping of Targa bar paint.
A few clips on the rockers need replaced. I have extras I can include.
Started to replace the aged/cracking tailights but only got one done - they're rather pricey...

Bra and air compressor included. I have manual as well.
Coverking custom cover included.
Full set of original D90s included. The tires need replacing.
