Default 996 GT3 Suspension Set

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price (no $ sign please): $1250
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 996
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

have a full front and rear suspension system that I took off my 996 GT3.

The springs are Eibach 650 front/900 rear, the preferred set-up for the car. The stock dampers were re-valved by Bilstein to match the springs by a previous owner. The rear dampers have just been rebuilt ($475) by Bilstein, and have yet to be put on the car since never being rebuilt.

This will work for someone who wants to upgrade their stock GT3 to stiffer suspension, or to convert their stock 996 C2 to GT3 suspension.

Here is a previous post on such a conversion:

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...on-996-c2.html

I did not go through the post in detail to see how easy it is. Other parts may be required.

$1250 OBO. Ships from upper NY state or Canada. Buyer pays shipping & PP fees.

Overall set

These are a great upgrade, I used the same setup for my 996 C2 upgrade. The only other part you will need is adjustable or GT3 rear sway bar end links. The fronts you can continue using the 996 OE setup.

glws.

Is the collar adjustment tool included with the coilers? How many miles were on these when removed?

There is no collar adjustment tool included.

The car had about 30,000 miles when they were taken off. They were re-valved in 2007 (for the stiffer springs) and the rears wee newly re-built by Bilstein in December 2017, and have not been on the car yet.

KW Suspension collar tools work for this application and are 18+ shipping brand new from KW if I recall correctly.

Thanks for the info.

This is a really good deal. I spent $475 rebuilding the rears in December 2017.
