For a touring I had a +40,000 over I kind of laughed at that.... I found a wing model locally that will suit my taste/needs and May pick this up instead for a very very reasonable ADM....alternative is to go pick up a 997 GT three and just enjoy it for half the price

Couldn't agree more. Can find them with wings for not much more than MSRP, and lots of great cars out there. I think speculators are driving up the GT3 Touring prices (unfortunately). That, plus many haven't been released yet to the states with CARB emissions issues.

My GT Silver Touring will arrive in about 30 days. Looking forward to it!
Try finding a Touring PTS Sample. They have all (unless locked super early) been pushed back to 2019.
I had the option for a PTS car, but couldn’t stomach the extra 12k. That would have put my car over 190k. I would have also had to wait an additional 2-3 months. The time wasn’t a huge issue, but the money was just too much IMHO.
You can keep an eye on pcarfinder.com, which has all US dealership inventory searchable by build sheet. 9 Touring Editions are listed now. Dealerships don’t often list their markup on their sites, but you can see a couple which are listed above MSRP.

You cannot order one from Porsche anymore, all sold out.
Impossible to find one on the market.
It looks like the 911 R and is twice the car.
