A car that doesn't need much of an introduction. Platinum Motorcars Detroit is proud to offer a beautiful low mileage 1985 Porsche RUF 911 Turbo.

A great example of a 930 generation 911 Turbo. While newer cars maybe faster, the classic 911's provide a driving experience that connect you to the car.

Offered in a 5 speed manual it doesn't get much better than this.

We have verified that the work was completed by RUF and will be receiving the certification documentation from RUF Germany shortly.

RUF modification as follows:
Engine Upgrade to 374 HP 3.4 l pistons and cylinders and camshafts, RUF Intercooler, RUF 5 Speed Transmission, RUF4-pipe exhaust system.

Car was just serviced and has a clean bill of health.

Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Awesome car. Pardon my ignorance but what is the extra taillight just to the right of the left exhaust tips?

Those are often found on euro cars as a rear fog light. Even in later model 997's you can see an option to turn a light on at the rear of the car.

Very nice car Platinum! The price is 100K more because it a full BTR conversion opposed to just a drivetrain swap, the blue BTR did almost sell for $170k + 10% at Mecum Monterey. GLWS she should move sooner then later!

No Ruf gauges? One of my favorite things about Rufs are the old school green on black gauges.

I know - me too and I really want to do this conversion in my RUF 997, but the price is prohibitively expensive, as is most RUF stuff. I even went so far as to buy a spare 997 cluster but haven't been able to pull the trigger on sending it off to RUF to have it done. Maybe in advance of my next trip to Munich where I can have them ship in locally to my hotel and avoid the 19% VAT.

Now back to ogling this sweet air cooled RUF.
