That's great, thanks for the insight. I've been trying to get hold of Porsche to see what's a good buy and a potential collectors item but no one's returning my call. Do you know what other cars will be collectors item?

All ball-busting aside, why would someone want to be the 2nd owner on the title/Carfax trail for a $25k premium? Is it because Porsche specifically blocks you from selling your actual slot and you have to take ownership, then flip?

Can't see this ending any way other than comical, but who knows - there just might be someone out there dumb enough to play ball.

I do love the looks of the new Targa. I also love the look of an extra 250 $100 bills more though.

Hello Sir,
I am delighted by this most excellent opportunity you have presented to me today. Please thank you for allowing me the privilege of doing this business with you. I will FedEx you a cashiers check for the $210,000US and just ask that you return to me the remaining $25,000US in cash immediately. I will then arrange for my servant Ugo to collect the car from you at your convenience.
Kind regards,

I never thought my $17 investment could be so entertaining. This guy wants to make $25,000 by flipping his right to buy a targa and yesterday I read a broker said something like what's another $300,000 or $400,000 when we're talking about a $1,000,000 car. Maybe my sense of value and reality are way too old fashioned.

Clearly MSRP is only for speculators/flippers and we all must pay the 'market premium' for the privilege to own a car from the World's most profitable auto maker.
