duty is 2.5% on any car unless Canadian made or originally titled in the US.

We pay 6.2% duty for non domestic cars coming to the Canadian north

Interesting that this is still around. Are there any build differences between US and Canadian delivered Porsches?

For example, does the analog speedo emphasize km / h even if the digital inset can be switched? Is she 50-state emissions compliant (ie passes Cali smog)?

Canadian buy lots of cars south of the border however very few transactions go the other way while it is not uncommon and Speedometer is in km, all digital read outs can be switched to imperial. Yes, the car is 100% US 50 state compliant (and also has the stickers for this), Porsche NA can verify, the 4.0 an be certified for this and delivered (-taxes and transport cost) by my local Porsche dealer.
Detailed differences apart from the km/miles are not known.

Beautiful car and would love to have one, but seems there are 4 for sale just in the US right now all with very low miles and 2 have already dropped in price since new GT coming out. If you can come down in price and really want to make a sale let me know.

If 2.5% - adds approx. $8,500 to price. I wonder how tricky to register a Canadian car in US for those who haven't done before.
