that's like asking a seller how much he bought the car for. it does NOT matter.
a 4.0 is a 325-375 car.
u can argue until you are blue in the face.
that IS the current MSRP, aka mkt price.
it's a car you either understand or dont.
i take it over m600, speciale anyday regardless of price, performance figure....
just like some ppl insist on riding steel bikes when other modern material are "superior".........
good luck to op. it will sell to a 4.0 guardian..

Yet people cried foul when the dealers tried to make an extra $10,000 on them.
Amazing...

^ haha...
1. i often know thse cars for sale before dealer and offer them to "enthusiasts" who think i rip them off. not even my cars
2. then subject car gets dumped at dealership
3. they then gladly pay extra for it or call foul
4. some of the cars you see at dealers selling at big $ prices, trust me, they are not making much at all. i am not guessing. i know the actual numbers. and if you were in their shoes, you would be asking way more than what they asked......
so bottom line, this car is well priced.
buy it now or buy it later at dealer at 375$
EX: mooty's was 250,000 offer on RL or was it cheaper. i was testing the so called "enthusiast tire kickers". 24 hours no bite. at that price, a real buyer would buy it sight unseen. i know i would. now mooty wants $500,000 USD. oh, no...i am not joking...
comparatively this car is a bargain and way lower mileage than my thrashed example.

I think you might be tarring too many with the same brush. I don't mean to argue the point too strongly, but a couple of cashed up types and some flippers (most of whom probably sold around $200K and thought they were robbing the bank...) just don't speak for the owners who bought the car by new order from their dealer as a "privilege" of having owned prior RS and 911's (including the Carrera GT.) Those owners aren't selling and that speaks volumes to their appreciation of the car, not the dollar.

This is TOTAL BULL$HIT. This only is relevent to those who don't work for a living. Total bullcrap. The only Porsche worth more than it's age is the C-GT. All others are imposters. Sorry but I must speak my mind. All you rich guys are so FOS with these cars and have propagated the numbers. But who cares, frankly I do not give a ****. Please please please go blow your money on such BS inflated prices. BTW Jim Jones called, he has the Koolaide ready for all you rich guys. *** me, it's time to walk away from such a bullcrap forum. Get a grip of reality or better yet have reality grip your throat. Ranger (Sua Sponte ... Six Silent Men) !!!!!! Have any of you boys been in hell? Once again, *** me.
Base on your understanding of economic/market theory, it's no mystery why you aren't one of those "rich guys" you reference above.

Ah yes, the victims
And then there are those that don't want to work hard and simply say "rich people had it easier, or my dog ate my keyboard before I could bid on ebay, or excuse, excuse, excuse."
My assessment is that there are two types of people in life, those that blame themselves for their circumstances and then do something about it, and those that blame others and do nothing.
Oh, and BTW, the last I checked, we live in a free market where supply and demand still works. If $335K is too much money for the car, it won't sell. For more background, Check out "Adam Smith" to learn more about this whole crazy capitalistic economic premise on which our country operates on.....mostly:-)

Burning Brakes
Wow! That is an awesome machine and a great piece of Porsche history. However, by the time one has arrived at the affordability of purchase, one's driving skills will have depreciated with age, IMHO…….. Track it or just look at it…….. a choice for the new owner! GLWS!
