CarjCapt,

"OP" refers to you as you are the "Original Poster" of this thread.

Price: Yes, I will too agree this is a high starting point, even in today's crazy 964 market. I'd value it between $65-80K depending on the quality and condition of the car in person. More if it were all original, lower miles and documented.

Others commenting on absurdly low value should get out of his thread. It's a 1991 3.3 Turbo and is desirable colors. To me, I'd MUCH rather have a 964 over a 993 and so would most 'real' Porsche enthusiasts. The reasons are blatant.

Yes Mike you are correct but my comparison was not the cars it was the way many felt my price was too high without setting eyes on my car. My price was very reasonable and fair. The OP in this ad may or may not have priced his above what some feel is too high but only time will tell. Sounds like he is in no hurry, so time is on his side.

Oh and for the repaint naysayers, if a repaint is carried out to the highest standard then it's a moot point. YES original paint may bring in higher numbers but if the original paint is tired it may also bring in lower than repaint numbers. Most 73RS,RSR,356 or vintage Porsche's have seen their fair share of repaint and repairs yet they keep trading at crazy high prices . Keep in mind these cars are 20+ years old....

GLWS, I'm subscribing!

I'd like to know where this car sells, just in case I ever sell mine, and I think its time to up my insurance policy on the car. Hagertys wanted to insure mine at 55k last month.

Black on Black FTW!!!

Respectfully disagree with this statement. And the reasons are not 'blatant'.

if one were to drive the 964TT and the 993TT back to back there would be no question the 993TT would take the prize.... but alas not many get that opportunity....

I was trying to refrain from replying to this thread, but at $150k I would expect the dash not to be all scratched under the key. It's obvious from the picture that some keychain scratched the dash countless times...

This price is in the stratosphere for that car considering the mileage, state, respray, etc.

Good luck with your sale, I guess there could be a buyer somewhere.
