It's about priorities.
The perception of value.
Someone will get this beauty.

And this makes me very sad. I think I need to start buying more 4.0's to keep them in the good ole US of A.

(No, seriously. I'm this close to sincerely believing this is a sound idea.)

Oh, I will. You'll be the first I talk to.

(Much appreciated, mooty! And no worries, wasting anyone's time is not in my vocabulary.)

Market is definitely high right now, and will continue to climb. I just paid a damn high price myself for one, so I too believe thats where its headed. Hard to believe, but its true.

Someone ****** this up, great spec and a car you could really love and enjoy.

well, good work boys.
cars are obviously worth what someone is willing to pay for them. that said, it's puzzling to witness GT3s trading for nearly $400k. not at all knocking the buyers or sellers. as a 3.8 GT3 owner, i'm simply blown away by the idea that the 4.0 is somehow worth 4x the value of a 3.8, or double the value of an RS. that got out of hand, quickly.

seeing these values in addition to the new million+ super cars from Ferrari and McLaren pound home the fact that i don't know the value of money anymore. that said, why stop at $380k? why not just ask $500K?

Interesting to see if prices will continue to climb or fall. Same price as this GT . http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-Carr...US_Cars_Trucks

Im surprised by this.."going out of the country"...where to? In Europe 4.0s are cheaper..

Nonetheless, this is a beautiful car..we are now close to C-GT pricing...I think that this must be it. I cant see that a 4.0 should-can be worth more than a C-GT. Already at 3x times price of an 3.8..

Lets see how this evolves - good luck also to the Irsinghausen tream with this sale..you have a true masterpiece there..

Just realized you grabbed the Voodoo Blue one. Congrats. And welcome back to the RS 4.0 club a third time.

Not sure why one can think the ceiling sits at current CGT pricing - there were more than twice as many CGT's made as 4.0's.
