Just FYI, I stuffed my 964 at LRP in an identical fashion back in 2007. It was a total loss. $7,200 doesn't even scratch the surface on the amount of work needed to be done. A proper repaint alone is north of $10,000, let alone chassis straightening, panel welding, and buffing the rear lenses so they have some nice patina on 'em

Not to mention that after such a big hit, the engine needs to be thoroughly checked!

Agreed. Here's what 22k worth of damage looks like from an off at VIR. Engine pulled to check frame integrity. Fender, quarter, bumpers, decklid, wing, spolier, oil cooler, and door. Plus, thousands of little parts that all add up. Full glass out respray ain't cheap.

I guess looking at a car initially, I would want to know if it had ANY paintwork (ENTIRE BODY RESPRAY) in this case, let alone an accident of any sorts much less a bad rear ender...

The description reads: "Very good condition inside and out, cosmetically and functionally, with excellent paint and seats." . . . I am sure the paint is excellent. Excellent if you like a car that has been completely resprayed

Can we let this thread die already? Car has probably been sold for at least a month now.
