Description
This was originally a 1990 964 Cup Car, 6th off the production
line. VIN # WPOZZZ96ZLS409006. It raced to many victories in
the Carrera Cup throughout Europe. Most notable win was a GTS
class win at the Daytona 24 in 1993, driven by Enzo Calderari.
Famed racer Lillian Bryner cut her teeth in this car in 1993 at Spa,
Sebring and Le Mans. In 1996 the car was imported into
the US when it was updated to Porsche 993 RSR specs and a
factory RSR engine to make several more runs at Daytona in 1997,
1998 and 1999. In 1998 it finished 6th in class and 12th overall. It
raced in the IMSA series and most recently in Porsche club racing in the
GT2R class. The car is in excellent mechanical condition. Copy
of original Wagenpass.
