Hi all,

I'm looking for an LS swapped (or any V8 for that matter) 911 Coupe. Preferably 996/997

No preference on who built it as long as it's been done right. I wouldn't mind a project as long as the majority of the legwork has been done.

If anyone has any leads, I'd highly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Default 2003 996/LS3 VB8 480 HP.

I have a 2003 wide body with a LS3, 480 HP coupe in Speed Yellow, center lock Forgeline 19" wheels. Everything is new, no salvage parts. All the water piping is in aluminum, no hoses. and the deck lid isn't all cobbled up like the black car pix.

There isn't a better conversion any where, I've got nearly 2 years and 100K in it. I've got a second house on the market that hasn't sold, it's eating my lunch, I'm a motivated seller.

I have an add some where on Rennlist, but I couldn't find it.

Thanks,

Mitch

Nothing in life is so good that it can't be improved by adding a LS! Currently putting a L99 from a '14 Camaro SS into a Defender, and if I ever end up with a 911 that needs a transplant, I'd go LS all day long.

Shame that the Boxster gets so little respect, my car is awesome

You could always buy mine, gut it and have everything you need to convert whatever car you choose!

I betcha lots of folks would love a 996 with a v8. I know I would.

The problem is the disconnect on price...

Anyone searching for a v8 conversion, probably expects to pay less than what a stock 996 costs. I know I fall into that camp.

These conversions cost a bunch of money, I am sure. But for $70-100k you are competing with gt3s and pristine 997 turbos.

Kind of like the guys who spent 100k building custom Harley's... 5 years later, they sell for 20 cents on the dollar...
