I love the color and it looked clean but pushing $40k for a 997.1 with the possibility of the 2005 MY IMS isn't that reasonable IMO. That puts it in 997.2 territory.

First person to look at it bought it as I called it.

Thank you rennlist for allowing me to post here, and find a good buyer who will care for the car, it is currently en route to New Mexico.

To the buyers comparing base model .2 vs S model .1 - you're all hopeless, enjoy your base model trim cars and I'll let that be that. I thought this was an enthusiast forum.

Congrats on the sale! What do you mean by the comment above? I'm going through the same though process (.1 S or .2 base). Do you think it's a bad comparison?

Yes, congrats on the sale.

I chose 997.2 base over 997.1 S and many have done the same. Some prefer the 997.1 S - to each their own!
