And I know many folks questioned whether this thread/offer was even legitimate. If it had been offered by a RLer with a longer, reliable history here, the allocation surely would have gone in a flash. Congrats to whomever snatched it.

Seller was very legit and I spoke to his about getting the allocation from him. It was going to be done on the up and up. If the PTS window would have been open, I would have taken this allocation even though I'll be buying one from a 918 owner in the next week or two.

I wasn't suggesting otherwise. I was merely pointing out that some people doubted the legitimacy of the thread and its author, which may have contributed to the allocation not selling faster.

If PTS were available, there is no doubt the allocation would have disappeared in a flash.

I also spoke with him. Very straight forward. I found a local allocation at msrp and went that direction.
