Buying a car out of state, especially for one that is only about 1k miles away, would not deter me from a car that checked all or most of the boxes. It looks real nice to me and since the seller is motivated...

Good luck with the sale and next P-car.

i don’t know about NH, but here in the Pacific Northwest we have these newfangled contraptions called airplanes. Maybe you have one nearby that regularly travels to Illinois?

Appreciate the compliments! For what its worth, I've bought just about every car of mine (with the ironic exception of this one) somewhere else in the country. Flights are pretty much free relative to the cost of the car, and it is worth every last penny to travel or ship for the right one. I'm happy to facilitate either if you are interested- just food for thought!

Appreciate the compliments, and share your feelings about out of state purchases. The right car is worth the extra effort, and a road trip home is my favorite way to get to know my new car!

Porsche people are so funny! I remember flying somewhere to get my GT3 and then drove it back!
