After I had Clearplex installed on my C4S May 2011 my wife and I took a Porsche NW chapter road tour from Seattle to Walla-Walla. 5-6 hr drive over the Cascades to eastern WA wine country. On the way back on a 2 lane highway a semi truck threw a rock from the opposite lane that hit the Clearplex with a resounding "thwack". We cringed and afterwards saw the rock skipped on the clear bra and left 3 pit marks in the Clearplex but no damage to the windscreen . Still have the same sheet on with the flesh wounds as a reminder. You never know.

my car has 6k miles on it. The windshield has some minor pitting. Can the windshield be polished before applying the film so that the existing pitting is less noticeable?

I was going to order but I found out that it's not allowed in Ontario. We cannot cover areas where the windshiled wipers touch. So I cannot get a pro to install
