This subwoofer (Rockford Fosgate) is in a great custom enclosure and came with the Cayman S when I purchased it. It fits easily into the rear trunk of a 987 CaymanS but it does take up most of the trunk. My wife and I had a custom box made for another subwoofer that fits into the side space of the rear trunk, otherwise we would not be selling this subwoofer.
1. It is a great sounding subwoofer in an enclosure big enough for good deep bass.
2. The enclosure is professionally built with a great black carpet over the entire box.
3. The speaker wires are connected via spring clip posts which makes removing the subwoofer easy.
4. It is a very solid enclosure. The box and subwoofer weigh 19.5 pounds!
5. It fits with room to spare in the rear trunk of a 987 CaymanS and my understanding is it will also fit into more recent Caymans, but please check the measurements on your car's rear trunk.
6. Measurements:
- 7.5 inches high at its highest point sloping down to 4.5 inches at its lowest point.
- 18 inches wide by 13.5 inches
