Default Futura Low-Loader Tandom trailer

Year: 2018
Make: Acura
Model: 0
Mileage (numbers only please): 1000
Color: silver and red
Price (no $ sign please): $11500
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): NorthEast
Body Style: Coupe
Transmission Type: Manual - 4 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 2 Wheel Drive
Engine Type: Fuel Injection
Stereo System: AM Radio

For Sale is my brand new Futura Tandom Low-Loader trailer. It's in excellent condition as I just purchased it about the first week of July. I bought it as I sold my previous enclosed trailer and didn't want to buy a new tow vehicle. Due to other reasons, I ended up with an F250 and I want to go back to an enclosed trailer. So I'm selling the Futura.

It's awesome - works extremely well and allows for my ultra-low GT3RS to get on it without an issue. Simple tie-down setup works perfectly.

The trailer has only been on one trip with me to Summit Point, and was perfect with my RS on it. Couldn't ask for a better open trailer.

Options on this trailer:
- Front stone guard
- Recovery winch
- Tire Rack (non-extended, which is safer for center-lock wheels)
- Futura Tie-downs
- Tekonsha Prodigy RF brake controller

Asking $11,500
Located in Stamford, CT

Interested, but I’m way down in Texas. What’s the weight of the trailer? You don’t list a spare as an option, I assume the trailer doesn’t have a spare tire? How does the trailer lift up and down, onboard air compressor?

The trailer weighs 1400(ish), based on the title. I’m away at the moment, but will get you the final weight when I return.

It does have the spare. It’s mounted to the underside of the deck, so it’s hidden away. It’s a beautiful trailer.

It works via a winch and cable system. The winch is in the box in the front and runs a cable out of the back of it. The cable leads to a pulley system at the axles that allows the axles to hing up. The beauty of this setup is that it’s all mechanical, not hydraulic so you don’t have to worry about leaks in the system. Just a cable and some pullies.

Thanks for the information! I’ll check into ways to get it down to Texas.

Looking for a trailer and this looks Interesting.
How are the wheels tied to the rack? Seems that with a bigger/sudden braking the wheels could fall off vs the extended version where you have a rod ensuring wheels can't move (I sued to have both enclosed and open Trailex and several others).

i use a 2” ratchet strap through the wheels to hold it down - the same type used to secure the car.

The problem with the bar through the middle is that it runs the risk of damaging the center locks. Additionally, my front and rear tires are different diameters, which means the wheels don’t line up exactly, creating uneven tension on the rod/wheel combo.

With this trailer, Futura will also sell you the taller extended rack of you want it. I opted to keep this one due to the center lock issue.
