I don't have a set but I would check out the Porsche Show in Hershey, PA on April 22nd. They have a huge swap meet area and I've seen at least 20 sets of E88s over the past 3 years. Most of the sets are in your price range.

mooty in california has stockpile of new and used e88 usually but if you want local drive and pick up that won't work so well ....

To be honest the used prices make NO sense to me.
Brand new a set can be bought for 4K US. I plan to order a set next week... Used people many seem to ask 3500 range. Some more. Rather pay 4K new vs the 3+ some near 5k used any day.

2k wont cut it for the E88's. I have a set stored and worth much more than 2k IMO. best of luck!
