18 inch wheels were indeed available on the 1999 996 in fact I know of at least 3 styles that were optional turbo twists, classics and sport classics

I wish this was about 8 months from now. This is pretty much the exact car I'm looking to (hopefully) eventually buy. Lower miles, major maintenance done, aero kit.. love it!
