After much internal wrangling and consideration, I've decided to put this race car back on the market. Since I first posted it, it has raced just once in PCA, at Road America over Labor Day 2016, where it performed flawlessly and won the GTC3 class of the 1.5 hour Enduro (PM me if interested in seeing the video). This means it probably has about 110 hours on the engine now. The fact I had so much fun racing it made this such a difficult decision. It remains one of the cleanest and best examples of a 996 Cup car.
I'm still asking $67,500 for it, but would listen to other reasonable offers. Note that the extensive spares package, which includes a used front bumper (no longer available from the factory), precludes my entertaining any low ball offers.
Also, the windshield was replaced prior to Road America.
