Was at Summit Shenandoah June 1 and 3.4 L stock motor had an issue - could have been oil starvation but we don't know as it hasn't been torn down. I am considering selling the car as is. Motor could be minor or it could be major. Feel like a good project? Or maybe just part it out?

The car has @ 91K miles, an Aerokit front end and side skirts, Fabspeed exhausts, silver on silver, 6 spd, Litronic, sunroof, all records since 55K miles with meticulous maintenance (3rd owner), recent and current VA inspection and emissions. The engine was just serviced prior including new O2 sensors. This 2000 996 was $75,000 new and in this condition with a perfect motor sells for about $20,000.
Asking for $11,000 or best offer as a straight sale on in trade against a 996 GT3 or something else fast.
