Parting out a 2003 996 C2 with Hardback Leather seats !

The engine and trans are in great condition with approx 59k miles on engine with an IMS upgrade bearing replaced about 17k miles ago with an LN engineering bearing upgrade, so there are no worries there. The engine also has a deep sump kit already installed. This is an immaculate 996 that was always garaged and very well taken care of.

The car was damaged in a multi car chain accident with cosmetic damage front and rear. Rear damage was contained mostly to rear bumper and cats were dented. Front damage was all above the frame rails as car went under the car in front of it, front bumper cover, radiators and AC condensers were damaged but car was shut off immediately. Since damage went above the frame rails it took out the airbag sensors and set off the 2 front airbags, so no good steering wheel or passenger front air bags, although I do have some from another car.
See pictures, including some before accident pictures as well just to show how car was maintained. Should be pretty obvious which are the after pics.

Mufflers are ok and OEM stock mufflers available. Wheels OEM lightweight 5 spokes with tires that still have tread on them and are ok. Engine with lightweight flywheel, upgraded IMS, and deep sump kit all included, and 6 speed transmission are available. Spare tire with tool kit and jack are good, will include the cover although it does have a small tear in it. Prices on these items and others as they are removed or requested will be supplied. Always willing to consider reasonable offers.

Asking $10,300 for 3.6 liter engine with IMS and deep sump, but without flywheel and clutch,
or $10,800 with the lightweight Aasco flywheel and clutch,
plus shipping cost and fees (PayPal) either way.
Asking $4000. for 2003 6 speed trans, transmission has approx 70k miles on it, for those that don't know the 2003 OEM trans had all the latest upgrades from the factory so it's a little stronger than the earlier 1999-2001 transmissions.

Many other great parts available, such as HARDBACK SPORT SEATS in black leather, black brake calipers in excellent condition, owners manuals / books, DAS bolt in rollbar, extra turbo twist wheels (not hollow spokes) with tires, lower center dash delete, full black interior carpet, and much more.

I also have other items from other 996 and 986 cars that I have turned into race cars or parted out from accidents so inquire with any needs you might have.

Please PM me here, I will be listing items here and some on EBay.
Will accept cash if picked up or delivered in the Houston area, actually prefer local pickup or delivery vs shipping items, could also arrange for delivery of larger items within a reasonable distance of Houston or for some fee if too far. Have truck and trailer and will travel. PayPal accepted if shipping items.

Lots of other items to remove in the mean time anyway.

PM with questions,
Thank you,
Onefastviking

Yep, that's the one.
He is ok and that's the main thing, cars can be replaced.
He will replace it in the near future I am sure.

Do you have black rear floor mats and will you ship to New Zealand?

Thanks. Once the initial relief that everyone involved was okay, it really hit hard that I would be losing the car. There's a reason I decided to get it back on the road instead of walking away when the original engine died.

As Viking suggested, I'm anxious to get another Porsche back in the garage, but I'm not going to rush it. I'm going to go with something more recent than a 996 this time, so it'll have a very different price tag. We just moved and I'll need to unload the second mortgage before making any purchases. At least 2-3 months, I'd guess.

Enjoy your cars!

Are you interested in selling the gauge cluster surround? Is it black leather?

If possible can you post a picture? Mine is damaged by the sun and I would like to upgrade to one in better cosmetic condition.

Thanks

I'd be interested in the wiper cowel panel and passenger a killer trim if available.
