$400 OBO - shipping is on buyer - 1988 944 Engine, mostly complete
The engine had ~160k on it when it seized at a track day. Pulled off the track when I noticed an odd lack of power - rod was knocking pretty badly. Stopped the engine and it never started again.

Knowns:

• T-belt did not break
• Rod did not grenade

Unknowns:

• Extent of crank, rod(s), and carrier damage

Parts that it does not come with:

• DME
• Complete wiring harness (may have some bits, need to check)
• Bell housing

Parts it does come with:

• Exhaust headers
• Intake up to (including) throttle body)
• Injectors

Kind of a ragtag engine, I know - when buying a replacement, the guy who pulled the engine was not very familiar with these cars and kept the bell housing, but left the reference sensors (what??), kept the DME (though we agreed it would come with), etc.

Make me an offer! I recently sold my SP-1 car and have no use for this engine. Cheers.
