less than 600 in North America according to several threads (unofficial count), and it seems most are PDK.

Don't let buckets deter you from the right car, those are available if you look hard enough. A manual Cayman R with buckets is the proverbial needle in a haystack.

Yea, won't be easy to find, but for now will be stubborn and continue looking for that needle. But I do appreciate the advice.

Hello. There is a white 2011 spider in New Port beach with PDK and 13k original miles in mint condition and I saw a silver 6spd Cayman R in Chicago at Mancuso motors and a blue Cayman R in Autotrader in Florida also a 6spd.

I drove the white Spyder and it is immaculate and located at Philllips Auto.

Good luck!!

Also does anyone have official production figures for the Spyder and R?

I've heard: ~900 Spyder's in NA and ~600 Cayman R's in NA. Which surprised me because I remember reading that the Spyder was rarer.

Spyder was two years of production. Maybe on a per production year, it's rarer?

Have driven manual in the past (never actually driven pdk), but will consider pdk as well. LWB and low miles are the main requirements.

Without the sport seats in the options list I believe it has to be LWB. They are slow to add the pictures. Good luck with the search. I really regret selling my 2011 Spyder. That's why it's my avatar.
