2007 BMW M Roadster
Location: Orlando, Fl
Vin# 5UMBT93567LY53454
Mileage: 33,300
Price: $27,000

Code named E85, this Z4M (M Roadster) convertible was limited to only 3,041 units for North America. It is 6speed and has the M3 S54 inline 6-cylinder engine rated at 330 hp @7900 rpm and 262 ft lbs @4900 rpm. With a curb weight of 3,100, it achieves 0-60 in just under 5 seconds with a top speed limiter at 155 mph. It is finished in Imola Red (code 405) with black leather interior. Features include dynamic stability control (DSC), M Differential lock, heated seats

As a 20+ year Porsche fanatic, owning several current models including a 997TT and Cayenne TT, I love the car due to its’ unique looks, limited production, powertrain reliability, and more direct driving experience. I’ve owned several older Boxster S’s and enjoyed them but preferred the overall experience in the M Roadster (also $7,500 + cheaper)…

Only add on’s I have done are a new exhaust (throaty but not too load), AFE cold intake kit, and I removed the CDV (clutch delay valve) for proper clutch engagement. Always used Liquimoly 10W-60 and follow rigorous maintenance. Brake fluid recently flushed and rear tires brand new. Rims are larger 19” M series wheels customized for the car. No know issues or service requirements / needs.

Carfax showed an insurance claim for rear bumper. The owner said he had a scratch on bumper and showed me all pics and said he shouldn’t have run through insurance. There was no collision whatsoever and have pics. I confirmed this with the BMW dealer who ordered brand new bumper and painted it (located in Clearwater, Fl). Other than the rear bumper, zero paintwork. Car in exceptional overall condition.

Why selling? I had an opportunity to purchase a ’14 Cayman S DE/Street car from a good friend (he just upgraded to a GT4 club sport!) so wife said something has to go. While I hate selling it, the Cayman S was too great of a deal to pass up. I own the BMW outright and have title in hand. I’m meticulous and it is a pampered garage queen. Rarely seen rain and always garaged. Please don’t send me low ball offers as I’m not selling due to cash and rather because I’d like to stay happily married. I’ve already bought the Cayman S

I recall you telling me how much you loved this car on the phone, sad to hear it's going!

Prospective buyers: buy with the utmost confidence, Shel is a stand up guy and purchasing a car from him was one of the most transparent and easy things ever.

By the way, the M is finally going wheel to wheel again in NASA's GTS3 class next weekend. Very excited for it

Thanks for the kind words. I spoke to your dad a week ago and said the m3 has been awesome. It's a great car and miss it. Super glad you guys are enjoying it. Fellow listers, I'm not a dealer just an "addict"

Had cash offer of $22,500 from local guy who physically saw the car. For this low mileage example in excellent condition with $2,500 + in tasteful quality mods not bring a solid $25k?? Thoughts on holding out?

I'd ask the Bimmer folks at Bimmerfest and Bimmerpost. Looks like a sweet deal at $25k. GLWS-Hoi

Carfax accident has to be your problem. Getting $25k shouldn't be too difficult otherwise. There are lots of <60k mile cars in the low $20s out there, but <35k miles puts you in rare company. The crowd that wants one of those rare cars wants something with "no stories". I would come take a look if it were a different color combo

Was looking at replacing my E39 M5 "Beast" with a Z4M...until the Porsche bug bit and I bought a 987.1 Cayman S. Have never looked back...except at the F10 M5. I glance at the F10...just a glance.
GLWS!!!

There was no accident and was only a scratch on bumper.

Bump for lowered price of $23,500 for an exceptional example. I forgot what a pain it is to be a seller. I was spoiled in my last sale of my m3 track car to Daniel
