I am selling my 2012 Peridot Green Cayman R. The car has a clean title and no lien. I bought this car as 2nd owner at Fremont Porsche under CPO at 10k miles. I used the car for spirited mountain driving and PCA track events in NorCal. It is extremely well maintained and have no issues during my ownership for the past 4 years. I love to keep this classic but I simply cannot justify this and the GT4! Both are dedicated track cars.

The options list includes (pretty much tailored for track):

- Delete AC
- LWB
- PCCB
- Manual
- Sound Package Plus
- Sport Chrono Package
- Wheels Black
- Sports Exhaust
- No Xeon Headlights

The mod list includes:

- 3M front film protection
- GT3 LCA for front and rear
- Third radiator
- Brembo front and rear rotor (PCCB set aside)
- RSS solid thrust arm bushings
- Pilot Sport Cup 2 (70-80% thread left)

When I got the car, I took off the OEM PCCB rotors/pads and put on the Brembo steel rotors/pads. I have now swap them back. The Brembo steel rotors are in excellent condition (selling it separately if interested).

Oil & filter are changed every 4-6 track days, brake fluid is flushed once a year, and all fluid are flushed every 2 years. Car is waxed after every track event.

My last track event was in May 2016 at Buttonwillow with PCA. Since then, I moved to LA. The car is now in LA and the wheel alignment was adjusted back to normal spec.

All work is done by BR Racing in Los Gatos.

I will be doing the DME reading and post it here. Carfax report is also available, will be provided upon request.

Don't sell it! I retired mine from the track and use it as my every day driver! Convinced the wife and rationalized that it was a good decision. Life is short, you need both!

I was just thinking I haven't seen a Peridot R for sale in awhile. Great car, specced perfectly at a fair price. GLWS

Thanks for the props guys! I really wish I can keep it! Damn Porsche, they keep producing great cars - I'm eyeing the new 2018 911 GT3 :-)

I've got the same car and was considering trying the MPSC2 tires. What other tires did you run on the track with this car and how would you compare them to the MPSC2? I had been told that the MPSC2 have fantastic grip, but wear quickly. Was that your experience?

GLWS!

Definitely get it! As you know, it is more expensive but boy, the grip is amazing. I only had this one set and so far, the wear seems normal to me. I had the Super Pilot Sport and the original PS2. Between them, the PS2s are better for track as the Super Pilot Sport is way too soft. Hope that helps!

Beautiful and GLWS.

I sold my Peridot, manual, LWB Cayman R to a private CA collector, just before the GT4 arrived. It's the only car I've ever regretted selling (and I love my GT4).

I'd like to get one back in the garage, but I need A/C. It MUST be Peridot. Such a fantastic and unique color. Photos never do it justice.

Your car is well loved, well maintained and enjoyed, which is much better than a car that sits and dries out.

Good luck - I'm sure it'll make someone very happy!

Here was a fave photo of mine. The angle of the sun practically made it glow.

Beautiful glowing color under the sun. Here is one just at sunset. I say I love both!

Eric.
