Selling my 2010 Radical SR3. (Obviously not a Porsche, but the software requires putting in a specific manufacturer and doesn't list Radical or "Other") This highly optioned car is in very good shape and has been gently driven in non-competitive driving events for the past 4 years. For example, I have the shift light set for 9,300 RPM and the car redlines at 10,500. This car is amazing to drive on the track! The combination of light weight, high downforce, slicks, and no lift paddle shifting causes big smiles that last for days. $46,000 for the car. Also have an enclosed trailer set up for transporting the car that I would sell for $5000 (I won’t sell the trailer separately before the car is sold).

It has about 26 hours on it. Yes, to the best of my knowledge this is the best deal in the country in an SR3. This is a great car at a very reasonable cost.

Great looking Radical- I had an older 2006 but stupid fun. Would like to have an updated version.

Do you have 26 hours on entire car or following a motor rebuild? Have other components been swapped at their time out suggestions? Any spares (wheels/tires/brakes/pads)? Recent maintenance and by whom?

I have heard that some people have registered these in the UK, and Radical makes a version that is road legal in the UK but I think it would be challenging to get it registered in the U.S.. Having only 1.5” of ground clearance makes speed bumps a challenge and driveway entries nearly impassable. But it is amazing on the track!

The car has ~100 hours total time and the Engine and Quaife have ~ 26 hours. I have all maintenance done by Spring Mountain per their recommendations. When I had the Engine / Quaife overhauled I had a “deep” overhaul done which means I asked them to go over the car with a fine tooth comb and replace anything that was marginal. I also had all of the newest updates added (revised HD engine mount, shift arm, etc). The total bill for that service was ~$19,000 (thankfully for me they gave me a slight discount because I brought the car to them during their slow summer season). This engine / car is very well maintained and if the new owner continues to operate the car the way I have it should not require major maintenance for quite a while. The SR3 owners handbook recommends that “engines that are not raced, regularly cover over 90 hours without regular attention”. I have video with the AIM data integrated for all track time to back up my claim of the conservative way the car has been operated.

Regarding spares / support equipment the car comes with some basic support tools like a nitrogen bottle/hose/probe to operate the air jacks, Data download cables for the the Life ECU and AIM Pista dash, wheel center nut socket, the wheel lugs used to connect trailer tie down straps, extra quiet “Laguna” muffler, fuel dump harness, etc.. I also have a second set of wheels / tires, and a set of gears that are useful for tracks that benefit from quicker acceleration with a slightly lower top speed, but these are not included in the listed price .

By the way to add a little bit about the spare brake and pad question... These cars are so light that rotors and pads last for years. I suppose if you are pushing to break the track record every time out, or racing you could go through them quicker, but for spirited track day use they last for years. My last track car was a Corvette which could go through rotors and pads very quickly, but long break life is one of the great benefits of running a Radical... which is amazing considering the car can brake at 2G’s.

These things are a boatload of fun! Do you have an approximate weight and hp, torque for your configuration? Thanks.

My plan was to setup and track my new GT350R, but this would make more sense...

Yes they are an amazing amount of fun! The weight of the car is 1,250 pounds and has the big engine option (1500) which is 260 HP (don’t know about the torque). The car produces 1,700 pounds of downforce so theoretically you could drive the car opside down in a tunnel....but I’m not going to try it. The car does zero to 60 in ~3 seconds, is capable of cornering at 2.5 G’s, and braking at 2.0G’s. It is a tremendous amount of performance for a reasonable price.

I agree. I did track days with a C6 Corvette for many years and really wish I had switched to a purpose built race car MUCH sooner. The Radical provides so much more performance than a street based car it just doesn’t make sense to beat up a perfectly good expensive street car.
