This car is listed on eBay for $200k, has stock dealership turnstile photos, checks every fantasy box of a used GT3 buyer regarding condition and care as if the seller researched exactly what to say in the ad, first post, etc., etc. Hmmm, I hope I'm wrong on this and happy to be proven so but seems too good to be true. Then again, it's missing bucket seats and PCCBs, haha.

Rambler, you're absolutely right regarding my eBay price. Mea culpa. BIG typo on my part, which I just corrected. $119,997 is price of car.

Regarding photos, the car I'm selling is the car in the photos.

Your questions regarding condition/care, I'm not sure how to respond, other than I take very seriously the car of my car. I didn't buy this with the intention of selling anytime soon. I wanted it for a lifetime. Still do, in fact. I don't have to sell it, but life has a tendency to point you in other directions at times.

2 pics attached are of all the books/keys/paperwork with car. I went online to find color photos of the 997.2 gt3 so I could print them out to place on cover of my binders. I printed out the entire manual, just so I could have a "users" manual while keeping the original as untouched and clean as possible. The other binder is all the purchase and service records for vehicle, to include Race Ramps, Xpel clear coat, California Car Cover receipts. I say all these things because I want to point out how meticulous I am.

2nd photo is of car in garage winterized. I'll point out that car is on Race Ramps, as I've indicated. The garage is tiled with Armor Garage tiles, the most durable and best I could find. I also take my tools and garage very seriously.

In my next post, I'll add the DME report and Porsche dealership inspection performed 2 days ago, Jan 19, 2018. I was lucky enough to catch a point in the middle of the day where the roads were dry and it wasn't raining. Again, no rain.

Here are the photos of the Porsche dealership inspection report. I asked for a detailed inspection along with a print out of the DME. This is what they provided me. Notice all green in the condition of the vehicle.

The over rev report: This is page 41 of the entire 63 page print out I got. Page 41 shows no over rev's at all.

Bottom line: Rambler, thank you for publicly pointing out concerns. I mean that. Valid points, worthy of public notice and discussion. I also appreciate the opportunity to be able to respond. By all means, please voice any concerns you guys have. I'm trying to present the vehicle in as clear/concise and detailed way as possible. I paid for the DME report and inspection prior to listing, because I want to independently show the true condition of the car I'm selling.

One last point, of course I researched exactly what to say in the ad, first post, etc., etc.

I am trying to sell it.

Please, though, what are you questions?

wouldnt you wonder if you saw a $120K price on a $175,000 car?

Absolutely. I tried to explain my mistake on the ebay price and further explain the condition of the car.

Also, I've listed it on pca and autotrader with the correct price.

I'm sorry if I came across so defensive. I can't exactly claim to have warm and fuzzy feelings in my stomach selling this.

I hate to carry this on as this is your for-sale AD.. so let me ask in plain words..

Why are you selling your car for much cheaper than market value?

Thank you CJ, this is helpful. The combination of the items I mentioned just made me a little suspect at first. Sometimes my radar picks up false alarms. But I’m happy to be wrong. After looking at used GT3s incessantly and addictively, your ad pushed all the right buttons. Thanks for the follow up and adding pics, I think this will be extremely helpful and more comforting for buyers here. Cheers and good luck!

He made a mistake on eBay. $120k is the going rate for a 997.2 GT3 (non RS). What doesn't make sense?

beautiful car! Sounds like a great car and a good price.

Wait, desmotesta, this is a GT3, not a GT3 RS. I do want to make that point clear.

Although I'm sure there are those who would debate me, $120k is a market appropriate price.
