WHOOPS: I was in error on the original price. Let me whack it down a bit to $13,499. In the original price of X, I suppose I was trying to recover some $1,400 in CA sales tax when I originally bought the trailer. Bottom line I paid $16,268 for the trailer a little over 2 years ago, and nearly $1,400 in sales tax..damn.

Wanting to downsize a bit, and mitigating the storage challenge at my new house, (1/4 acre VS 20 acres), I am selling my 20' ATC trailer I had built to my specifications in 2016, picking it up in July of that year. It was used sparingly in 2016, about 3 tows, 5 tows 2017 and 3 tows in 2018. These tows were all fairly short, none exceeding 400 miles round trip. I have moved out of the rural countryside and back to the city, not really needing and enclosed trailer now that I no longer live down a 2 mile dirt road, and I now have a garage for car storage. For trips to the track, I am going back to an open trailer, a trailer that can be stowed on site at my home garage.
As you can see by the enclosed options build list, this trailer is well equipped, having:
-Upgraded 16" aluminum wheels and Class D tires, run at 80 psi,
-LED ramp lighting,
-Shore power converter,
-Marine battery in the floor board,
-Escape Door, allowing the driver door to be fully opened from inside the car, drivers side,
-Interior tire rack, takes 4 tires, I load up two (2) 235/40/18s, and two (2) 295/30/18s.
-Interior mounted accessories cabinet,
-Electrical tongue lift to the towing ball,
-Rear scissor jacks,
-etc., etc., see the enclosed build sheet.
-Race Ramps: I have a complete set that should accommodate low race cars. They will become available, price to be established when I see what IO paid for them,
-Reese weight distribution hitch could be purchased separate, paid off $800 for this.
-Presently licensed with CA plates.

I will have comprehensive pics soon, trailer in storage.

I can deliver the trailer to any spot in SoCal, NorCal.....cost will be $1.00 a mile for the delivery, one way.

Wire transfer or cash, potentially Pay Pal, buyer pays Pal Pal 3%

As can be easily verified given Martin's extensive rennlist forum history, and I have firsthand experience buying from Martin via rennlist, he is a class act and can be taken at his word. If in the market for an ATC I would not hesitate buying from Martin again.

Love my enclosed ATC trailer and am selling it simply because I now have a garage. What people who have experienced ATC will say, the quality of the build is top Rated. I must agree.

I will miss the storage aspect of the trailer, as well as shelter from the elements. But I just don't need it anymore, an open trailer will now have to do the job, and as a bonus with the open trailer, I can store it at home, not possible with the ATC. Sold the Toyota Tundra, and will be towing with a full sized SUV, so I have the storage aspect covered.

And indeed I will continue with my addiction to the track. Planning 2 more POC events this year, Chuckwalla and Willow Springs.

For that itchy buyer, with a fist full of cash, I will have the trailer in Van Nuys the week of the 22nd of October. I am dropping my car off for some work, and will drive home "trailerless". Make my day, come see the trailer, better yet, bring a wad of cash, and of course, Bring a Tow Vehicle and drive away with a grin on your face. I will have the Title with me. Of course you will have a trailer brake controller already installed.

And finally, I will have the Reese Load Transfer hitch on the trailer....It can be yours for $600, paid over $800 for it.

Nice looking trailer, Martin. Apologies if it’s listed here somewhere, but do you know the empty weight? I’m looking for an enclosed aluminum trailer for my Spec Boxster. Max tow capacity of my RV is 8000#. Planning a “Race Across America” next season, racing bucket list tracks.

I looked at the Spec Sheet, shipping weight was 3,100 Lbs.....what will tell there tale is the plaque on the trailer which specifies trailer weight unloaded, and loaded max.

I always presumed somewhere between 2,900 and 3,100 Lbs, add in my 3,050 race car and I was always under the maximum tow weight for my Tundra of 6,700 Lbs.

One of the big features es for me, was the spread axels, that is, the distance between the two 3,500 capacity axles, 1 foot longer than a traditional 2 Axle trailer. This equates to a more stable tow.

I never used a weight distribution hitch until I switched tow vehicles. Went from the 4.7 Tundra to a Lincoln Navigator. The Lincoln tow limit is increased by 50%, when a weight distribution hitch is employed, from 6,000 Lb max to a 9,000 lb. max. I am considering selling the Reese weight distribution hitch...wont really need it on my open trailer.

The one thing you may want to list is the deck height from the ground. IIRC going with those 16" wheels and D load tires will raise the deck which in turn will make a steeper angle will the ramp door. The bill you uploaded shows 15" wheels and tires. Which is it:15" or 16"?

I did go with the 16" D load tires , love them ....:"going with those 16" wheels and D load tires will raise the deck." Good point, and it did...and my GT3 is bloody low. " That's why God invented race ramps. Thanks for there input.....
