Default Recaro Profi SPG Seats, side mounting plates, sliders, and mounting adapters

Category: Interior
Price (no $ sign please): $1750
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 996
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

I picked up a 2002 996 that had been set up for the track, but I plan to use it mostly as a street car, so I'm selling off the bits that I don't need.

I'm willing to sell these as a complete package ($1750) or separate them into parts ($1500 for the seats, $200 for the Recaro side mounting plates, $175 for the sliders, $150 for the mounting adapter plates)

The seats are Recaro Profi SPG (NOT the XL). The sticker on the side says F.I.A. 8855-1999 Recaro Profi SPG CS-011.00. Feb 2007. 070.91.010.00.

The side plates are Recaro, the sliders are of unknown manufacturer (I think they are also Recaro), and so are the adapters (they look like the Brey Kraus track seat adapters).

My research suggests that these adapters may also fit the Boxster 96+, 996 C2/C4 98-05 and the 997 Carrera 05-08, but I'm not certain of that fitment.

Everything looks good, there are some scratches where the side mounting plate meets the side of the seat, as if they changed the height of the rear of the seat without loosening the front mounting bolt enough.

Please shoot me any questions, or requests for better/more specific pictures.

These seats are too bulky to ship easily, and it will cost a lot of money, so pickup is ideal.

I should also say that I just guessed at what these are worth, and am open to reasonable offers.

Charlotte, Vermont, USA, near Burlington.

I can ship, but seats tend to be pricy. The seats are pretty light by themselves, but would be bulky (large dimension, oversized box like a Uhaul moving wardrobe box). The mounting hardware is actually pretty heavy.

I learned tonight (as I disassembled them) that the sliders are Recaro, the adapters seem to be the Brey Krause one’s, and there is also a crossbar, which I think might be an anti-submarine device labeled Brey Krause.

If I did the math right, $525 for both sets of the seat mounting parts, I’m guessing $25 shipping for a total of $550.

I've replied to all PMs.

I'd prefer to sell this as a complete set so someone has everything they need to mount them in their car and go. If that doesn't work out, then I'd like to sell all of the mounting pieces together as a set. The least desirable option is to sell individual parts, and I will do that, if the other options don't pan out.

I am willing to ship at the buyer's expense. Most likely two boxes, one very large but relatively light one for the seats and one smaller but rather heavy one for the mounting parts. I expect it would run into a couple of hundred dollars to ship domestically, once all is said and done. But, I'm open to it. Drop me a private message if you want to discuss it any further.
